Good morning...
Today I plan on cleaning the house to the same standard as when we have visitors! It is normally the only time I go around and make a big effort to get it looking good. As it is a Friday I thought i'd put off getting back on with working on the annex and start again on Monday.
We plan on having a holiday let at the end of the house but there is a lot of work to do - we have already put a kitchen in, but we need to put a bathroom in, the living room and bedroom need doing...as well as putting in an external door where there is currently window.
I have started to get the wall paper (woodchip!) off the walls in the annex bedroom and it is very slow going...
I also need to get rid of more pipes sticking out of the walls in the annex living room (or what will be the annex living room). It was a ladies toilets with cubicles and four toilets and 3 sinks, this is where an external door will go.
Anyway...my plan is to clean. However it is 11.26am and I have done nothing but put the dishwasher on! I have chatted to Lissa about blogging, running and cats (via whatsapp as she is in Surrey). She has also been reading this blog from 2010/2011 and keeps messaging me to apologise when she read stuff that I said about her at the time! lol. Or to laugh about what I said - it is nice that she is enjoying it - its a blast from the past - and it has inspired her to start writing her own blog.
Rather than start the cleaning I have also started a page on this here blog, about the house and its history. Its good to have a place to write everything down about its history and transformation. I have created a page about the cats too! It is somewhere I can put pics of them and gush about how cute they are...haven't added anything yet but I will!
So...the cleaning....I suppose I'd better get to it...the sooner I do the sooner I can come back and fill in more detail about the history of the house...and put up pictures of cats lol.
