In the news today - Boris Johnson has been up and walking and has left intensive care. The state of New York has apparently had more deaths than any other country - a state being compared to countries!
So - after last nights drinking (not excessive - but was definitely squiffy!) I still didn't manage to get a full nights sleep - I got about 5 hours. I've been a bit less stressed though - breathing not as bad as it was. My Dad seems no better unfortunately. I spoke to him this morning and he thinks that he will be in hospital for at least another two weeks. There is still mention of being sedated and put on a ventilator - but I'm remaining hopeful that it won't happen.
We had some shopping delivered - and we have been getting some shopping for Pam next door, so I took that around and we had a bit of a chat - 2 metres apart obviously!! She is doing so well considering that she lost her husband last year and she has been alone and unable to leave the house for over 3 weeks. She does loads on her garden - which is amazing - wish my garden was in the same condition! Luckily it has been really nice weather. Hopefully she will continue to cope well over the next 3 weeks as there seems to be no sign of the lock down coming to an end.
I had a video call with Helen this morning - and she basically told me to do some things - set myself a few goals for the day. So....I made a pineapple upside down cake! I thought it was going to be a disaster - and it didn't come out of the tin very well - but it tasted just as I remember it - I haven't had it since I was a kid and my mum made it.
We have been out in the garden a few times - walking around, playing with the cats - I took some pics....
Here is a strange looking pregnancy picture from Lissa, and a similar one from Adam and Erika...
Adam seems to think that is funny to grow a moustache whilst he is working from home - I think he is well aware that it doesn't look great - we are all ribbing him about it! Connor joined in with the moustache thing - it doesn't seem to look as bad on him however....
He currently has no hair because Emily cut it - badly again hahah and he ended up shaving it all off!!
Andy really needs his hair cutting but he wont let me cut it - thank god hahaha I could not deal with the pressure.
